AMERICAN RED CROSS WABASH VALLEY
The American Red Cross has been serving the people of Indiana for more than 100 years. It prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
This direct services agency serves the poor, the homeless, the elderly, the neglected children and the needy. They do this through various programs: Bethany House, Ryves Youth Center and the Christmas Store/Household Exchange Program. All services are free to anyone in need, regardless of social, economic or religious background.
The ministry provides information and referrals to and from other not-for-profit organizations, as well as advocacy within the civic community to address pressing needs related to social services, disability benefits, legal assistance, and more,all free of charge.
A faith-based non-profit thrift store, sometimes referred to as The Quarter Store, that provides affordable shopping for the community all while pledging funds to local Wabash Valley charitable organizations.

This faith-based organization is responsible for running programs that meet the needs of the local community including brightening the holidays, curing hunger, assisting in emergency financial need, and divorce care.

The organization services Clay, Parke, Sullivan, Vermillion and Vigo Counties in Indiana and Clark County in Illinois for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in the community and join the fight against the community's most daunting social crises.

WABASH VALLEY HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
The local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a non-profit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. They work in partnership with people in need to build decent, affordable homes with a 0% interest mortgage.
WESTERN INDIANA COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY, INC.
A non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of the economically disadvantaged, the elderly, and the physically and mentally challenged. Western Indiana Community Action Agency, Inc. serves the three county area of Clay, Putnam and Vigo in Indiana.

14TH & CHESTNUT COMMUNITY CENTER
A faith-based non-profit organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of local children. The community center runs an after school program and other various programs throughout the year. There is a food pantry open to the community that is run by the community center.
BOOKER T. WASHINGTON COMMUNITY CENTER
This community and recreation center, houses offices for social services as well as a full-size gymnasium which can be utilized by the public. Program direction within the facility is provided by Chances for Indiana Youth.
COVERED WITH LOVE, INC. DIAPER BANK
Covered With Love, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is standing in the gap of child poverty by providing diapers, disposable training pants, wipes, and baby hygiene products to families in need or crisis.
This organization provides specially selected and trained community volunteers to advocate and represent the abused and neglected children with in the juvenile system; in the pursuit of safe homes for them through collaboration with key agencies, legal counsel and resources in the community.

A non-profit, community-based organization that is run by and for people with disabilities and provides the following services: individual/systems advocacy, referrals, independent living training, assistive technology Information, ADA information, peer counseling, & transition.

CANDLES HOLOCAUST MUSEUM & EDUCATION CENTER
CANDLES shines a light on the story of the Holocaust and Eva Kor to create an empowered community of critical thinkers with hopes of illuminating the world with hope, healing, respect, and responsibility.
VIGO COUNTY EDUCATION FOUNDATION
A non-profit, volunteer-based organization committed to excellent public education for the children of Vigo County by generating new sources of revenue to fund teacher-initiated educational projects that could not be funded by local, state or federal money.
HEALTHCARE
The non-profit center seeks for optimal wellness for the Wabash Valley community by offering mind-body-spirit education and therapies which combine the best of modern medicine and complementary care.
MOLLIE R WHEAT MEMORIAL CLINIC
This is a 100% free, student run clinic that operates out of the Landsbaum Center for Health Education. They are a collaborative group of students from the Indiana University School of Medicine - Terre Haute campus as well as Indiana State University. They provide acute primary care, health screenings, and patient education.
This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
NATURE/WILDLIFE
An equine rescue non-profit which also provide services to special need adults and children. They give the horses a chance to recover physically. The end goal is to rehabilitate the horses and find them adoptive forever homes.
OUABACHE VALLEY FELINES & FRIENDS
A feline rescue non-profit to find loving homes for cats. All of the felines are spayed/neutered, have had their shots updated appropriately, and are fully socialized before adoption as well as being provided for medical care.
Transforming the Wabash River into an active waterfront in the Wabash Valley providing family friendly recreational opportunities, educational learning of the natural environment and stations, and commercial and residential development.
SPAY-NEUTER LEAGUE OF TERRE HAUTE
The all-volunteer, non-profit league has worked to offer low-cost and affordable spay/neuter assistance programs to enable all pet owners/guardians to spay and neuter their animals. Their goal is to eliminate euthanasia as a form of pet population control.
The Society's goals are to work toward the prevention of all unnecessary animal suffering and to teach kindness toward all living things through an area-wide education program. Their mission continues to be to maintain the highest standards of humane care and treatment for animal friends.
An environmental volunteer group which encourages the planting of trees to replenish our declining urban forest, educates citizens about the importance of maintaining existing trees, stimulates community participation, and more.
Seven existing animal advocacy/welfare organizations met in 2007 and formed the Vigo County Animal Coalition (VCAC) to improve services and promote the well-being of animals.
WHITE VIOLET CENTER FOR ECO-JUSTICE
White Violet Center is a ministry of the Sisters of Providence. This working farm features a 5-acre USDA certified organic garden, orchards, bee hives, a Farm Store, educational workshops, cooking classes, Farm Share program, animals, and opportunities for internships and volunteering.
