Community Theatre of Terre Haute seeks to entertain, educate, and enrich the community through dramatic arts. They are a volunteer theatre dedicated to producing five varied main stage plays and musicals and one or more Oakley Stage (featuring smaller casts in a more intimate theatre space) productions.

HATFIELD HALL

Opened in 2002, Hatfield Hall houses a 602-seat theater, an alumni center and offices for development, external affairs and alumni affairs. The state-of-the-art theater replaced the Moench Hall auditorium, which had been used as a performing arts venue for 76 years.

Since the curtain first rose on January 28, 1922, the grandeur of the Indiana Theatre has stood as an iconic downtown treasure.
Through restoration efforts which began in May 2013, the theatre’s heritage has been preserved and reborn as a 1,300+ seat full service event center which can host a wide range of community gatherings that include live entertainment, cinema, wedding events, etc..
TILSON AUDITORIUM

Finished in 1940, Tilson Auditorium can be found in Tirey Hall. A classic Proscenium Arch Theater, the auditorium is equipped with two dressing rooms and a dressing corridor. Home to the Indiana State Performing Arts Series as well as the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra, many famous national and international performers have graced the stage.
